About Standards - The Emotionally Intelligent Bear™

An emotionally evolved predator who only asks you be sure no men are around who might keep you and he apart — no one wants that! Anyway, Standards™ doesn’t. At least not ‘til he’s eaten. Then, whatever.

Meet Standards™

Standards™ really has no time for your problems. He’s not one of these “nice guys” (Ich!) Nevertheless, he’s got all these emotions, see? Plus, he likes girls.

And while most bears are simply prepared to tear you limb from limb, Standards™ wants to get to know a woman first…then tear her limb from limb. But you know…with love. Cuz he understands. He’s highly cuddly—for a while.

Where He Came From

Where do you think he came from?! The woods, obviously! Why are we having this conversation?!

The Regal S™ Crest

The patch currently shown on Standards™ is a prototype — a placeholder while the final regal S™ crest is being designed. The finished crest will replicate the version Standards™ himself wears, and will appear on future merch, including the knit cap and other accessories.

The crest is a symbol of emotional intelligence, gentle strength, and the human family that found and raised him until, well…

What We’re Building

Standards™ is a character I created to embody warmth, intelligence, and a gentle absurdity that feels both familiar and new. He has grown into a full project thanks to early supporters who believe in what he represents.
